Here’s the January layout, finally! Some more Sherlock wallpaper love. And I used the superhelpful innovation of border-image for the first time.

Border-image is supposed to work from IE11 on, but in my IE11 it didn’t. Fuck it. Fuck it all and most of all Internet Explorer. This layout was supposed to be posted in January and I’m determined to finally finish it, so there. Anyway, in a future IE version border-image will work.

The first of my Jim ships to get a layout (not that this means I'll make layouts featuring my other Jim ships, so far I don't have any planned)! This layout also features the delicious OTP of Jim's IOU apple/Molly's cherries.
I had fun trying out 2 new things here: a fake drop-down menu and making the entry-security a lot more prominent.

ETA (20.4.14): Font problem solved. Fortunately it was just the Cookie font that didn't work, not all Google Fonts. So I choose a similar font.

I know, there's no worse timing for posting a Christmas layout than right after Christmas, but this was made for [livejournal.com profile] the_sign_of_fun's Christmas/Winter Challenge and voting only just ended.

I'm still amused that Jim wore a tie with a skull pattern, so here's a layout to celebrate this glorious character-costume combo.

My computer is borked, so I got myself a laptop for such emergencies. I made myself a simple little layout for the laptop and that's why the dimensions aren't the ones I usually use.

Let me hand in the last missing profile layout:

You can change the width of this profile layout, but the width of the left column is better not changed.

Also better leave the height of the upper right content-containing cell as it is.
Go to Edit Profile and insert the code into the Bio part.
To copy the code, click in the text area and then press Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C.

You don't have to use the lj-raw tags. With them you can only make line breaks/new paragraphs with <br> and <p>. Without the lj-raw tags you can also create line breaks and new paragraphs just by hitting the enter key.

If you want to change the link color, put a font tag with a different color in your link. Like so:
<a href="URL"><font color="#FFE000">LINK TEXT</font></a>

Here's my second take on the Sherlock wallpaper. And for the first time a sideways sidebar, because I didn't want the sidebar to cover the smiley.

I continue my tradition of making more things out of previously made stuff. And the tradition of making wallpapers in only one size (1680x1050). Let me know if you want a different size and I'll make it.

the Wall SmileySolitairiarty

The Wall Smiley: I had already made a Sherlock-wallpaper layout, but then Arwel Jones posted this quality photo of the smiley and the wallpaper. I just had to use it and make a better version of the wallpaper and the smiley. So here's a kind of preview of the upcoming layout.

Solitairiarty: I had already made the Jim of Hearts, Jim of Diamonds and King of Crime cards for T-shirts (and iPhone/iPod cases), but I also wanted to make something that stays digital. And on icons the cards didn't look that great.
