Mycroft CSS

Go to Custom CSS and insert the code. .subject img[src*="private.gif"], #sidebar_summary img[src*="private.gif"], .lj-view-month img[src*="private.gif"] { margin: -2px 2px -3px 0px; width: 0px !important; height: 0px !important; padding: 19px 0px 0px 58px !important; background: url(http://fatfrog.info/Ma/A/Sherlock/entrytype/icon_private-Mycroft.png) no-repeat !important; } Make sure that you don't already have a customized friends-lock icon code that could override the new one.

Sherlock CSS

Oh, I forgot that not all layouts are built like Flexible Squares. Just change the text before the curly bracket opens to img[src*="private.gif"] and it should work.

THESE ARE FABULOUS!!! HOW will I ever choose???? Heh heh heh...I will save the code for all three and change them out. I'm an illiterate when it comes to HTML, is there a way to possibly use one to change the little lock graphic that shows up for Friends Only posts? *runs off to try new eyes*

For friends-locked entries just change private.gif to protected.gif.

I don't make too many private posts, but all my other posts are f' locked and now everyone can see my FABULOUS COOL EYES that you made! *dancing like a loon* I've saved all of them and will change them out according to my mood, this was a WONDERFUL idea of yours! I already have a customised layout, and the only references to the "private" images I can find in the code are these:

Any idea how I can adapt your code to fit in with that? The same would go for your "SHERlocked" icon for flocked entries. Thanks!!!

Oh, I don't know that stuff, but I guess if the CSS can't override it, you can just put change $*IMGDIR/icon_protected.gif to http://fatfrog.info/Ma/A/Sherlock/idk/LJflock-SHERlocked.png.

And it looks like your not using Flexible Squares, so if you use the CSS, you should change the text before the curly bracket opens to img[src*="private.gif"].

These are so great I just love them! I almopst never make private posts though is there any way I can use your Sherlock Eyes code for just regular posts? I'm terrible with this techy stuff though so if there is a way you'd have to walk me through it *blush*
