This is really lovely, but is there a way I can disable the layout when it goes to the comments or a cut tag? I prefer the good old fashioned look for comments and larger entries which I use cut tags with.

I've tried tinkering to no avail.

Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml, under Basic Options set Disable customized comment pages for your journal to Yes.
